HOW TO USE
Kanji Branch Study does not stop after a learner reads one word. A correct answer lets the learner choose a kanji and continue to another related word. This guide explains the basic controls and review flow for first-time users.
The learning screen first shows one Japanese word. Enter the reading of the whole word in hiragana and check the answer immediately. Practicing the reading as a word, rather than viewing one kanji in isolation, keeps the exercise close to real vocabulary use.
The current learning interface can be switched between Chinese and English. The questions still use Japanese kanji and vocabulary, while buttons, instructions, learning paths, and missed-word records appear in the interface language selected by the learner.
After reading a word correctly, choose one of the kanji it contains. The tool then presents another word containing that kanji, so the session continues as a connected vocabulary path rather than a series of separate questions.
Words answered incorrectly are treated as items to revisit. This includes words that are completely unfamiliar as well as readings that felt uncertain or easy to confuse. Focused review makes it easier to identify which readings need more practice.
