How school-grade and JLPT labels are used
School-grade references and JLPT N5-N1 labels help learners estimate difficulty and choose a practice range. JLPT labels are supplementary learning classifications. They are not an official complete syllabus, an official test range, or a guarantee of passing.
- School-grade labels provide a reference for basic kanji
- JLPT N5-N1 labels provide an approximate difficulty guide
- The labels do not claim to be an official complete list
